Tea Leaf Prediction

I find this graph like reading tea leaves. I wondered, is this an omen? A decline of page hits on the mls.ca site suggests that the market might be slowing? What is seen is less people looking which implies less people will be buying. Could this be reality? If all of Edmonton has stopped looking this would not be enough to show this level of decline. 2005 to 2006 were banner years. 2007 in Vancouver hasn’t been bad either.

The knowledge people at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp seem to be on the same page and predict a sales decrease of 6.7%. Were they looking at this graph as well?

It is possible that there is another unaccounted factor? Are the Web 2.0 types fed up with the lack of timely information on mls.ca. Are they abandoning mls.ca as the source of real estate?

Let me stir the tea again.

Search for your home here. It’s lot easier than other places I can’t mention and you can see the home via Google street view. . Use Walkability to determine the availability of those neighbourhood services most important to you. Don’t be shy, tell your friends who are looking to stop by and give it a whirl. They will love you even more. :)

If you would like something more personal that is specific to your budget and needs, give me a shout. Let’s talk and I’ll set you up with a custom search delivered daily to your in box.

Of course, if you got some questions I’m around for that too.

Thinking of Buying or Selling your Vancouver home? Put on a cup of coffee and let’s talk.
