It will cost you more to ride.

Beginning January 1 you will have to break into the piggy bank and bring more money if you want to ride Transit. Kitsilano to downtown which is a one zone fare has increased from $2.25 to $2.50. The single zone monthly pass is up to $73 from $69.

Save Money

Here’s a hint – get a transfer. They are usually good for 1.5 hours. Scoot downtown, have your meeting or pick up what you need and scoot back. Lot less expensive then parking your car for an hour. The bonus is that you will save money as you won’t have time to shop for more stuff.

Search for your home here. It’s lot easier than other places I can’t mention and you can see the home via Google street view. . Use Walkability to determine the availability of those neighbourhood services most important to you. Don’t be shy, tell your friends who are looking to stop by and give it a whirl. They will love you even more. :)
