Broadway Shuts Down
It’s that time of year when Broadway is shut down making room for everybody to show their support for Greek day.
Lots to See and Do
The events theme this year is Remembering the Past. Events take place at the Vancouver Public Library with dancing and music, at Jericho with a seminar on movement and the Choreography of Movement, and on Saturday before the main event the merchants on Broadway will be holding a huge sidewalk sale. Past years have witnessed 60,000 people hit the street.
June 22 is only 2 days away so get planning. It all starts around noon and continues until early evening. If the weather forecast is correct it should be a glorious sunny day. Bring your hats, sunscreen and water.
Stop By and Say Hello
I’ll be there supporting Scotia Bank presenting some history of their own. Be sure to look for the display of currency dating back almost 100 years. The artistry of the engravers is beyond compare. Play the wheel and win some great free bank services. There will also be a drawing contest for the kiddies.
