Lori Mcleod in the Globe and Mail made headlines on December 16th with: “Housing Sales Hit a 20-year Low as Real Estate Slump Widens.”


In the Vancouver real market we like to think that the mountains and ocean protect us from the rest of the world. It’s very clear that our 62% drop in housing sales indicates that neither has protected us. We have and are suffering the same fate as is the rest of Canada with an overall 11% drop in prices from earlier this year.
