The Georgia Straight has for many years produced news that has at times, generated a lot of heat.
Suspect is that this issue may have contained equally smoldering words.
Spotted on West Broadway at Stephens, the Straight’s paper box stood as a charred reminder of former combustible stories.
Reasons
Standing in front of Starbucks this Georgia Straight box was set on fire. The origins and reasons for the burn remain unknown.
Who knows why anyone starts a fire in a paper box. Could it have been the news that upset a reader, a street person trying to stay warm on a cold winters night, vandals, or just an inventive soul trying to re-heat their latte – such are the mysteries of life in the big smoke.
