André Chocron an inhabitant of Lillehammer, Norway shares knowledge that we, as hosts of the Vancouver Winter Olympics, should absorb in every detail. Via this tonal and visual translation he has seemingly depicted all the issues surrounding Vancouver’s entire 2010 Olympic experience in one minute. One assumes this piece results from intimate Olympic experience.
Beginning to End
With trepidation, it begins with submitting our bid. Growing, the tune captures the excitement of being selected, the frenzy of financial and political turmoil, and the colored rush of high sport. It ends with the solitary tone of dismay as Vancouver is handed the bill.
