Some say pictures are a story.
This picture of Vancouver West’s Detached home market will cause some to worry. Active Listings are dropping faster than the yellow dots dry on the graph.
The blue bar of Units Listed, grew from Mar 09 onward, but now, in August, are dropping.
Nearing or setting new records, the red bar of Sales Volume, grew from Mar 09 to date, with only a momentary lapse in July.
Fewer Active listings, reduced number of New Listings, higher prices – are you asking if this will continue? Do you wonder when this will end?
Take comfort knowing that your curiosity is not alone – others are asking the same question as they wait for the next chapter.

Search for your home here. It’s lot easier than other places I can’t mention and you can see the home via Google street view. . Use Walkability to determine the availability of those neighbourhood services most important to you. Don’t be shy, tell your friends who are looking to stop by and give it a whirl.
