Wondering
From the annals of Discover Vancouver this post appeared at 05:56.
“I am wondering what the protocol is if Im collecting EI now and wanted to start using my REALTORS license? Will they stop my EI even if Im not techincally working? i.e. looking for a job during the week and try and make a real estate deal on the weekends.”
Please – Stop The World!
With tongue in cheek, one asks – “What will the people in need of real estate service during the week do – how ‘will’ they get by?”
With tongue firmly lodged, here’s an imagined excerpt from a Tuesday evening 11:30 pm conversation between a Buyer and Seller-
“Mr. Seller I know you have 11 offers over your asking price however, could you please wait till Saturday before you decide. Please – I’d like to show you my offer but, my REALTOR® won’t be available till noon – he needs time to cash his EI cheque.”
Wonder No Longer!
Technically Speaking-
- Make EI your permanent home.
- Continue ensuring there is no way to contact you.
- By following this path take comfort in knowing you are providing a service to many consumers. They won’t have to worry about your intent.
Yah gotta love it!
