Yesterday you had a look at Coquitlam’s results. Today, it’s Burnaby’s turn.

During the two periods August 25/10 to September 25/10 and September 25/10 to October 25/10, detached properties in the Burnaby community revealed these results.
Listings
Total Listings decreased from Aug/Sept’s 556 to Sept/Oct’s 514.
Sales
Sales dropped. Aug/Sept 73 while Sept/Oct had 47 sales.
Expired, Reductions, Increases, Days on Market
- Aug/Sept had 54 listing mandates expire. That slowed to 38 in Sept/Oct.
- Price reductions in Aug/Sept were 142 dropping to 118 in Sept/Oct.
- There were only 9 price increases in Aug/Sept. Sept/Oct saw 10 price increases.
- It took 48 days to sell a home in Aug/Sept. Days on Market reduced to 38 in Sept/Oct.
Average and Median Prices
- Aug/Sept’s Average Ask price was $790,005. It increased to $841,993 in Sept/Oct.
- The Median Ask price in Aug/Sept was $729,000. This increased to $769,000 in Sept/Oct.
- The Average Sold price in the Aug/Sept was $762,443. Sept/Oct saw sold prices increase to $814,602.
- The Median Sold price in Aug/Sept was $730,000. Sept/Oct increased to $778,000.
