Will You Still Need Me

Landmarks
If you get to live long enough you may look back at landmarks thought important in the past which now with the passage of time, matter little. Like many of you, I have eaten barbed wire and drank the cool aid while shouting at change, an example being the change in the Vancouver Real Estate market – a condition that some believe will be endured for a lengthy period of time.
Selective
While my spirit continues, a treasured product of long life is the greater understanding of what to shout at and selecting the barbed wire more carefully.

Remains
A result of this latest personal landmark I decided to give myself a present. A laugh or two with friends, dinner with family and some needed time to reflect on what was, what is, what may be.
As I reviewed these things I listened to what the Beatles asked so many years ago.
I was reminded that even with all the shouting and barbed wire that was and will be what remains is that we shouldn’t take ourselves too seriously and remember that without each other the picture is incomplete.
Thanks for your continued support of this blog.
