It Happened in Kitsilano

By Larry Yatkowsky, Vancouver Realtor®

Kitsilano’s annual Khatsahlano Music and Art Festival happened today.

You could find most everything you were hoping for in a street festival. From lip smacking good spare ribs to Osaka balls being feverishly made ready for throngs of hungry people the festival was not short of tasty and interesting food.

Live music was provided at a number stages and at street level. From country and western to punk the Khatsahlano Festival made the ten block journey note full.

From Burrard street you could look west up the 4th avenue hill to Arbutus and see a human river of bodies undulating in the mid day sun serving confirmation that the Khatsahlano Festival’s is as popular a community event destination as ever and one that continues to grow.

Couldn’t Make It

It’s too bad you couldn’t come to the party. It would have been nice to meet you. It was a great time and lot of fun. Not wanting you to feel left out I took my trusty camera and made this little memory for you.
