Again and with increasing frequency one hears the refrain that a Vancouver home that attracted multiple offers. Multiple offers can be nasty for as you know, there can only be one winner.

I was thinking about how to best describe the abject dejection some buyer’s assume when they are not the successful bidder for one of those Vancouver homes.

While reflecting, I spotted this common seasonal event where spider webs intersect with Autumn’s falling leaves.

It occurred to me that an unsuccessful buyer surviving a multiple offer might find a certain beauty in their lack of success.

Both Sides

Some may feel dejected – left to hang in the wind. Others might thank the spider’s artistry for saving them from paying too much.
