Vancouver’s Red Chair

Red Chair Learning

The great part about being a Vancouver Realtor® is that you never stop learning things. Red chairs teach you a lot of skills that fulfill a passion to learn how to take interesting ‘night shots’.

Taking pictures of Vancouver homes at night demands special learned skills that help to highlight the home. Seasoned photographer intrinsically know how to set the tone. I don’t think I’m ready just yet but, as I learn and practice I will get there.

This picture shot at night through a reflective window is from a local barber shop on Broadway in Vancouver’s Kitsilano neighbourhood.

The Red Chair

While taking the shot I imagined how during the day this chair is privy to a lot conversations of things both good and bad. Tired from the day, at night I envisioned the chair resting as it prepares for another day of hearing things only said while in a barber’s shop chair.
