On The Corner

The rush of buyers that precipitated high sales volumes earlier this year has calmed. Presently sales reflect a reasonable pace of moderate positive activity in all segments.

Compared to last year sellers have taken a summer holiday. Detached and Attached Listing inventory continues to drop in Vancouver. The slight exception is in the apartment segment where there was a 2% increase.

On the corner street talk says the hot weather has many deciding that real estate can wait in favor of a holiday break. Anticipated is that the fast approaching fall market will see more ‘buzz’ in sales and listing activity.
