Blip Before Carnage

As average prices increased throughout the year market watchers began to think it would never stop. That changed in September as average prices for Vancouver’s detached homes experienced a small retreat.

Recharge

This current market is in an unusual state with as listing inventory declines in concert with prices.

The combined retreat may be the market catching its breath as it sorts itself or a signal that the Vancouver housing market is recharging in preparation higher price levels in 2016. It would be nice to know which.
