The Force

As if “The Force Awakened” in Vancouver’s 2015 real estate market both buyers and sellers experienced market busting prices. Previously unimagined, each passing month witnessed home sellers acting as Jedi Knights whose light sabers cut through previous price records. Equally astonishing were buyers believing the force was with them, acted as Star Wars’ Storm Troopers ready for battle faithfully lining up to pay the ultimate price.

Previously unmentioned in this real or imaginary price battle is the collateral damage. Within the Vancouver real estate market battle of 2015, there are those for whom The Force did not prevail. Pushed aside they now find their reality in that category.
