British Columbia Day
It’s the long weekend celebrating B.C. Day which was declared a provincial holiday in 1966. “Our long weekend is dedicated to the pioneers who built the colony of British Columbia into the great province it is today” Hon. Ernie Hall 1966Pioneering Spirit
B.C. has many pioneering innovations. Look around you and you will see the changes first hand. The thrust to develop our city which some have typified as world class, has forever changed the landscape of our youth. There are declarations to it’s necessity while others lament the loss of natural beauty that once surrounded us. Pioneering and change seem intertwined and inevitable. Reflecting, you wonder if it worth the price?Pioneering Song
This Canadian music pioneer who says it all. Happy B.C. Day.Got a Vancouver Real Estate question? Always happy to answer it. Call or send me an email. Larry

150 years of finding ways to tax it’s citizens… great job BC.
Having a hard time finding anything online about the 150th anniversary… the Pride parade has upstaged the event.
Great blog by the way.
