Vancouver Real Estate - Suffering From Pumpkinitis?
Posted August 26th, 2008 in Real Estate, Statistics

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Everywhere
A large field of pumpkins is a site to behold. Pumpkins are at their best when they are fully ripe, colorful and firm. They need to be firm and bright orange if you plan to carve scary Jack-O-Lantern for Halloween.
Pumpkin Afficionadoes
It’s fun to watch children and adults mosey around a field finding the very best pumpkin. The pumpkin they choose must be special. Some want a big round one, a tall oddly shaped one, or little tiny pumpkins that the small children love to collect in their arms and carry around. Each pumpkin buyer is as unique as the pumpkin they seek.
Pumpkins and Jack
A strange thing about pumpkins is that before Halloween they are prized and sought after, but when Halloween passes, nobody gives them much attention. Sadly, Jack Frost comes and freezes them, and soon after they wither becoming mushy globs slouching on the ground.
Selling Your Home - Is It A Pumpkin?
The field of pumpkins is a lot like the present Vancouver Real estate market. As of August 25, 2008 REBGV statistics tell us that there are a lot of residential pumpkins in the field.

When Pumpkins Are Picked
Where in this field are you? If you want someone to come and pick your pumpkin you have to ask yourself if you are orange enough, firm enough or unique enough in your odd shape. Young and old pumpkin buyers are discerning in choosing just the right pumpkin.
Look Around
There is lots of pumpkins in the field competing with you. Talk with your Realtor. Let them help you not be one of many pumpkins left to suffer the ravages of Jack Frost.
